GuestAugust 20, 2019 at 11:10 pm #1913467You can choose the neat graphical interface or the text screen version of your replies.
- The text tab can be used to verify the contents of a reply.
- Delete extra empty space and extra HTML cruft.
- Users can directly paste text.
- View formatting tags of the visual editor.
- If you have copied the text box contents somewhere, fancy formatted replies can be quickly restored in case of any fault.

ManagerAugust 20, 2019 at 11:12 pm #1913472There are more likely to be html-formatting errors when copying into the Visual editor, than the text editor!
Pasting Text
If you copy and paste text from somewhere else, you may discover that it does not always appear exactly as you would expect. This is particularly a problem if you cut and paste from Microsoft Word. If you use the Paste as text button then a special cleanup process will run to remove any special formatting and HTML tags that may otherwise change your text. If you are pasting from Microsoft Word you can use the Paste from MS Word button to remove any formatting.Once clicked, a window appears where you can enter your text.
Checking the keep linebreaks box will preserve all HTML tags. Unchecking this option will remove them.
In our system, clicking the Tooolbar Toggle (top right icon, on Visual editor tab) allows you to access the PASTE AS TEXT option (rather than Paste from MS Word, as mentioned in the link).
