    How does one use VSS to control the source of a website?

    i havent been able to find any text anywhere that says how this is supposed to work. Or perhaps i have seen the text but just dont understand it!

      Not I, said the fly – I wrote a script to back up the directory structure and give it a unique name before publishing. Sadly, it’s manual, so one screw-up and you’re toast…

      I have NEVER used Source Safe, however, you may be looking for Share Point Services. Don’t know much about either, but I did help out at a Microsoft ‘Load-N-Go’, which showcased Share Point Services with FrontPage XP and Windows 2000 Server. I didn’t see much of the presentation, but the gist of it was the sharing of web development (I think! shrug). I did get a free copy of FP XP and Windows 2000 Server out of the deal though! grin
