Greetings,
I have an Older HardDrive that I would like to view the Registery. I do not have the option of using this as the Boot drive, so any suggestions? Do I have to make this a boot drive?
Thanks,
Brad

I’ve used MiTeC Windows Registry File Viewer for this. Does the job well and is .

Regedit is a Windows program to view and edit the Registry and it doesn’t have anything to do with additional drives. Windows is normally installed on the boot drive. Perhaps if you would say what it is that you’re hoping to find or do and why/what that has to do with an additional drive, please?
Have you tried Alan’s suggestion in post 741,369?
You may have better luck going to the homepage of the author – http://www.mitec.cz/%5B/url%5D. I couldn’t immediately see the application Alan suggested, but there is a similar-sounding Windows Registry Recovery which may do the job and is also Freeware.
You can load the files from this drive into Regedit by following the instructions in the Regedit help file (search for Load Hive). Make sure you remember to unload them again when you finish.
For information about where to find the files, see this MSDN article

You can try this one:
Data recovery software for registry files: Direct Registry Browser
There are a few such programs around.
