I would like to see the entire style, font, and font size on my tool bar in word. Currently all three of these boxes are about 1/2 the normal size. Is there a way to resize these fields in the tool bar so I do not need to click on them to see the proper size?

    TIA!

I’m thinking you’ve got that setting where the Standard and Formatting toolbars share one row. To put them on their own rows, hit Tools-Customize, Options tab. Remove the two checkmarks (least, that’s what I do).

I tried that, but it did not help. Even when it is on it’s own line, I see exactly what I see when it is on the same line as the other toolbar! Is this something that cannot be fixed???

That was a good solution! The fields DO change size…until I close the Customize window. Then they go back to the former size.

      Grrr.

      What am I missing NOW????

Check in the Customise dialog what the template name in the Save in: combo box is.

If you are editing Normal.dot and the customisations you want to change (resizing the font box etc) are in a different template when you close the box you will revert to the customisation in the template you are using.

Select the template that you want to use in the combo box next to Save in: (see attached picture)

        Hope that is some help
