Version number (Office 2000 SR-1/Win 2000 Pro)

I am facing a number of problems with the entire suite (including the normal crashing and the such). After some checking I noticed that all applications but Outlook have the same version number 9.0.3821 . Outlook’s coincidentially is 9.0.0.3821. The extra zero looks fishy… . Has anyone installed the suite and gotten like results? Or maybe it’s a bug in my system?

Why don’t you go to Office Update & apply the latest patch, SR-3 (I skipped SR-2). My version numbers are different, like 9.0.669x & 9.0.6620.

Outlook’s has always been funky. Woody did a long rap on how to figure out your build, etc., in an old WOW newsletter.
