vcd movie splitter

i have a 1.11gb movie that i would like to stick onto VCD so i can play it in my dvd player but because the file is too big i cannot put it onto cd and i am hopeing that there is a piece of freeware that lets you split the movie into two halfs so i can place it onto 2 cds and just switch the disks around when needed. any help is much appriciated.
