My wife is a member of a group who do all their work by email. Monthly she wishes to create a correspondence list (inwards / outwards) and discovered she was continually copying data just to present it as a summary.

The attached VBA code operates on the currently selecteed items and creates a little summary email. I thought it may be useful to others with a similar requirement.

      Hi Anrew,

      Thanks for the code!

Is there a way to attach a sample file to show what the code’s output looks like?

      Thanks’ again.

Why don’t you try the code? (Please read the warning in AndrewO’s attachment – you’ll have to use Edit | Replace to change it a bit)
The code displays an e-mail on the screen, it doesn’t send it automatically, so you can safely try it out.

Attached word document has a paste of the email message content.
I couldn’t see a way to attach the message itself

You can save an e-mail as a .htm or .msg file, zip this file and attach the zip file to a post. (You can’t attach a .htm or .msg file directly)

            Thanks Hans.
The other issue was that I actually had to send it for it to become formated as a mail message. Before a send it knows its a word document.
