I’ know that this has been eliminated. If you want to implement it, are there any good tutorials or articles out there about it. A quick Google did not find anything very useful.

The new version of the Jet Engine doesn’t support user-level security for the new database format .accdb, but it does for databases in the older .mdb format, and it works the same there as in Access 2003. What I am wondering is there is a way to implement in the new format, a system that emulates the old way? Has nayone thought about this, or why is it not needed? I would like to have some forms that are visible only to certain users.

Microsoft’s philosophy is that if you need user-level security, you should use SQL Server as a backend. But of course, this works only at the data level (tables and views/queries).
