I am running Outlook 365 on my home computer (so no Exchange server).  I would like to automate an export of my mailbox using Powershell.  Is this possible?  All my searching seems to say that an Exchange server is needed.

If it is possible what Powershell command can I use?  If not possible with Powershell is there another way to script this, say a batch file?

    Thanks.

You need to control O365 with Powershell to perform the export and I don’t know if that’s possible.

What mail service do you connect to with Outlook?
Why do you want to export the mailbox? Is backup not enough?

      cheers, Paul

I assume because it is local Outlook 365, all your emails are in a .pst file.

Can you provide a bit more info on what sort of export you want to do. For example, create a hierarchical folder structure that replicates your email folders with each folder containing each email as a .msg file? Or something else?

Does the export process need to be powershell or are you happy with an Outlook VBA solution?
