Just updated my Windows 11 22h2 with November 23 updates. Now my USB webcam is no longer recognized. It was working fine yesterday before the updates.

Any suggestions? Have already several tried different USB ports.

Check Control Panel\Device Manager. Does the webcam show up? Does it show any error?

Nothing shows up and undetected no matter what USB port is used.

In Device Manager, on the View tab, click “show hidden devices.” Does it show?
      If so:
You can try uninstalling the driver, then reinstalling it.
      If not:
Do any other devices show up when plugged in to the USB port? (problem with USB port).
You can try to find the driver on the OEM’s website and install. (problem with the driver)
You can try plugging it in to another computer to see if it is recognized (problem with the webcam or the computer)
Last, you can try to uninstall the Nov update and see if the problem is resolved (problem caused by the update)

After trying on multiple machines and operating systems, I have determined that the webcam is the problem and have ordered a new one.

      Thanks for the help.
