Mine is set to “Ask” (and I didn’t set it there) already. I have had no problem. It has always asked to allow connection.

Good to hear this, makes sense. Always nice to have options in case one fix doesn’t work. I haven’t updated the Mac Mini M1 to Sonoma 14.4 yet, I’ll wait for an Apple fix, not in any rush.
