USB Errors (XP Home)

When I try to save to anything on the USB port, I get the following error message, “You do not have access to the folder “I:”, See your adminsitrator for access to this folder”. I can not look at any folders on the port. When I check the USB on System, it shows everything working fine. How do I get access?

Can you provide a little more detail on what you have installed and how it’s connected, please? I don’t know what your post means by “…save anything on the USB port…”

Are you running the computer with a profile that has ADMIN privileges?

Are you talking about a flash drive, external HD or some thing else ??? Network or stand alone machine ???
