    I know you can use plug a USB 3 drive into a USB 2 plug and the only difference is the speed. Can anyone tell me if it is okay to plug a USB 2 device into a USB 3 jack on my computer.

      Yes it’s possible to use a USB3 port on your computer for a USB2 device.
