Upgrade vs Full Version (XP Pro)

I’m wondering if, once the install is complete, if there is any difference between an Upgrade and Full Version of the system. I am working on a new computer with an apparently very quirky install of WinME. I intended to just wipe out the C drive and start over using XP, but accidentally ordered an Upgrade instead of Full Version XP. Will there be any difference if I start over by reinstalling ME and then Upgrade vs going directly to XP after wiping out?

If you have a product CD of ME as opposed to a recovery CD you don’t need to re-install ME. Just start the XP install process. It will ask for proof of a prior OS. Insert your ME CD at that point. There is no difference in the XP OS just what is required to get the install done.
