I see the sticky above but it is on no use, i.e. doesn’t work.

I tell it to search for updates, select them and nothing ever happens. It just sets there trying to download. I’m sure you’ve heard that before.

Suggestions?

I had that problem following a factory reset on a Win 7 laptop, so used WSUS Offline Update.

Read through the Documentation then hit the Download tab – http://www.wsusoffline.net/docs/

I work on several machines with a mix of Win7, Win8.1 and Win10. You might make your suggestion more visible in a separate sticky for those using older Windows OS’s. Just a suggestion.
