I have a teeny macro that merely formats cells with my preferred numeric format. It works just fine IF I open Excel. However, I have a program that exports data to Excel and opens a new instance of Excel and my little macro is not available then since the personal sheet hasn’t opened.

Is there a way to make this macro available all the time?

    TIA.

Do you have any control over the application? Can you modify its source code (or have it modified)? If not, you’re out of luck.

No control at all over the application.

I sort of figured I was out of luck but thought I’d try anyway.

        Thanks, Hans!

You’ll have to close Excel, then start it manually. Or open Personal.xls from within Excel, but that is probably more tedious.

Yeah, it would be more tedious since it isn’t that many keystrokes to begin with.

            Oh well. Such is life.
