Two different webpages on my site have suddenly started duplicating text. Both pages contain text followed by a photogallery component. And in both cases the text started appearing as duplicated after I had edited some text within the PhotoGallery component. I’ve checked the HTML within the page and in …/photogallery/…/real.htm and the …/photogallery/…/real_p.htm and can’t find any discernible reason for the duplication. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, take a look at http://www.squawk-flash.org/619th_tcs/padd…photo_album.htm to see what I’m talking about.

I recently installed SP-1, and recall seeing something about it fixing a problem that sounded a lot like this issue.

I have the same problem, although it seems a bit worse- It seems to be not limited to complex pages but also on very simple pages. I am using FrontPage 2002, and have never seen this with 2000. If I get an answer I will share it with you. see http://www.csstonline.com/index2.htm Best Regards, oliver@oliverhill.com

The HTML source shows the duplicated text, but it also shows what looks like a photogallery component mixed in with a table . My experience is that when either I or FP screws up a table, it is easiest to junk the page and start over.

Also, my webhost reports that the 2002 extensions are “buggy”. I tried them, found bugs, and returned to the 2000 extensions.

      FWIW.
