Noticed after downloading and installing latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (5.0) that all entries except for Acrobat Reader are removed from Control Panel Remove Programs. Is there any way to recover the information? I am using Windows 98 SE. Do have CleanSweep from Norton Utilities System Works 2000 Version 3.
Have confirmed with Computer Store where I purchased my computer that this is a repeatable bug on Windows ’98. Strongly urge not installing Acrobat 5.0 on system having
Windows ’98 until this serious bug is removed. Have tried to contact ADOBE, but their forum for reporting bugs is down. (Isn’t that convenient?)
