    Hi,
This is my first time on the forum – hope someone can help. doh
I have imported a Lotus 123 file (.wk4) into Excel 97 and columns A:C have been hidden. I have tried selecting the whole worksheet and unhiding the columns but no joy. A colleague tells me that there is a particular issue with Excel when unhiding Column A which require a different approach. My other thought is that the Lotus file may have some form of protection which doesn’t translate well in to Excel.

    Regards

    Graham

      Graham,
Try this (It works on the standard Excel sheet):

      GoTo (key F5) A:A

Then from the menu, select Format | Column | Width…

The width should show 0. Change that to nearly anything, like 10, and the column will open up.

You might also try WINDOW – Unfreeze panes.
