When I clicked on the Restore Default of Folder picture, the angel picture would not be replaced by the default picture similar to the Folder icon below. This u201lcmt_ is the only folder has this problem. I don’t know where this angel picture comes from.

    Windows XP Home SP3

Do you have a file in that folder called folder.jpg? If so then that’s it, its a Windows default name that will display as a thumbnail on the face of a folder and clicking on restore default has no effect because that is the default. If its not in there then I don’t know, except that it would then appear to be malfunctioning or have been somehow protected or excluded from being changed.
