    Hello everyone!

I can’t get rid of another user’s mailbox in my Folder List! Here’s my story…We have Exchange 5.5. In my Outlook 2000 client (Corporate/Workgroup installation), I used the Tools==>Services command to add an additional user’s mailbox that I have permissions to, and I can see their mailbox in my Folder List just fine. The problem is, now I don’t want to see their mailbox in my Folder List any more. When I right-click their mailbox in the Folder List, and click the “Close Mailbox” command, I’m told I need to disconnect from the mailbox by using the Tools==>Services command. So I click Tools==>Services, then click the “Properties” button for our Exchange Server, and go to the “Advanced” tab, only to find that the user’s name isn’t listed under the “Open these addtional mailboxes” area. I have used the Outlook “Exit and log off” command to no avail, I’ve also tried restarting…any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you create a new profile for yourself, that should take care of the problem. Just go to Tools-Options-Mail Services and select Prompt for a profile to be used. Close Outlook and open it back up. Just make sure you go back and tell it to “Always use this profile” under the Mail Services tab.

      Hope this helps,
      Becky
