Within the last two weeks my scanner started scanning everything as shades of red. Example, black type ends up red; white background ends up as very light (almost pink) red.

Does anyone know what’s causing this?

Umax technical support did not respond to my email.

Try reinstalling the drivers. You might also want to check and see if there are new drivers for your scanner posted on the Umax web site.

I un-installed and re-installed all of the software that came with the scanner.

That seemed to do the trick.
