UltraSoft Money or PocketMoney?

Have a Tungsten E and use MS Money 2004 on my home computer. Want a similar app on my Palm that I can sync up with. Can’t decide on which is the better app, Ultrasoft Money or PocketMoney. Any opinions out there?

I am a user and fan of Ultrasoft Money. I find it to be a very robust and reliable application, with seamless integration.

Thanks! I will give it a shot. I tried the trial download when I first got my Palm, but it locked up my sync process, so I updated the Hotsync app as per the directions. That did not help. Everytime I tried to download the trial, I was not able to sync after that, and had to do a hard reset to get everything working again. Any suggestions when I do my download?

Never had that problem with it, but I would suggest removing the application from your Palm and from the Add/Remove Programs section of Control Panel. Don’t hesitate to email Ultrasoft’s technical support either, they have always been very good for me.

What version of the Hotsync software are you using? Hopefully it is the latest publicly available release. I just discovered recently that there is a version 4.01Hb from Palm tech support.

Yes, it is all removed. I upgraded to the latest version of Hotsync from Palm after trying to download the first time. It calls for the 4.01 version in order to allow Ultrasoft Money to work. Ok, I will give it a shot……….but if it locks up my Palm, I guess I will have to come get ya!

Hello! Anyone able to help me out with this?

I got to thinking about the problems I was having, and one of the issues was that Ultrasoft Money did not recognize my version of Money on my computer. I have Money 2004, so you would think it would recognize it ok. Is this a problem that anyone else has encountered?

Kathy, did you inquire from Ultrasoft about compatibility? They typically are very up to date with the versions of Money that float about.
