    Windows Media Center plays and records tv fine until the computer sleeps, then there is an error message about “conflict–no tuner found.” The tuner is a Hauppauge win tv HVR 1250 Hybrid model 79xx. The tv tuner disappears from Device Manager until reboot even if Media Center is never opened. Updating the driver doesn’t change this behavior. Anyone have any answers?

      This has a workaround– disable Sleep and the tuner stays available.
