Trouble with drop downs in Chrome

Spare computer running win 10 22H2, suddenly experiencing oversized drop down menus. Attempted to fix via Zoom feature but all that does is change the size of  the web page not the drop down menus.

I’ve searched around most of the talk revolves around Zoom, but that doesn’t do anything. Is the issue the size of the font in the drop downs?  Computer runs windows 10 Home and was just updated. Can someone help with this issue? Thanks

Apparently this has been a thing since version 59. It seems Chrome can sometimes mis-identify a device as having a touch screen, so it automatically pads the choices in drop downs. And Chrome doesn’t appear to have any settings for controlling this behavior.

One user found it necessary to go into the Tablet Mode options in Windows and turn everything off. Another uninstalled and reinstalled their notebook’s touchpad driver.

the first tactic did not work. I’ll go into Dev Mgr to see if there’s the offending driver . Thanks for your help.

I had the same problem recently. Has been fixed by next update (I run Chrome betas)
