Trouble accessing site (don’t matter)

Has anyone else been having trouble getting to this site. Over the past week or so, I have frequently gotten the “page not found” message from Internet Explorer. Sometimes it has been as long as a day before I can get back in.

Yes, it has been slow for me at times. Perhaps the flood of recent trojans have had the cumulative effect of making amess of things! Today I got in fast. I’ve encountered some pages while navigating between forums, however backing out and re-entering seems to work.

For me it is not a question of it being slow, or of having trouble between pages. I can’t even find the site, even if I manually try to go to http://www.wopr.com I get nothing. Apparently the server isn’t being found at all.

I use Aol Ver 8 and several weeks ago my screen name was hijacked, found and ran the following:

CWShreader v.1.57.0
Ad-aware 6.0
Spybot 1.2
Ran Bazooka Adware and Spyware Scanner 1.12
HiJackThis v1.97.7

My hijacked issues have been recolved, however since then I have experienced same behavior as you reported

In addition I have a Favorites Hot Key to the Woodys Access Lounge

It use to take me to the Access Lounge with current messages on top of the list.

Now it takes me to the Access Lounge where I was durning last session and I have to scrool down select Access and click Jump button to get current Woddys Access messages.

Any thoughts?

Not a one. My problem is pretty much all or nothing; I get in normally and have no trouble navigating the Lounge, or I can't even get to the site at all, even if I manually just try http://www.wopr.com!

Others have reported similar problems from time to time. Our admin people are trying to sort out what is going on – only some users seem to be affected. I haven’t seen any problems other than occasional slowness – but I’m seeing that on some other sites too, even Microsoft.
