Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place but I’d like to ask other loungers for their experience with training materials, both for general Access database concepts and VBA programming for Access.
I’m not talking about books but multimedia (CD’s or online). Any opinion, recommendatation or critisism, would be helpfull, particularly as this stuff is not cheap and I’m wary of coughing up for something that might look flash but turns out to be of poor value and education use.

It seems like an appropriate question for this forum. I haven’t had a great deal of experience of these materials, but I’ve been told that some of the most expensive ones (i.e., well-known Access-gurus as presenters) are actually video taped from seminars and have all the chatter and lack of direction that those live sessions sometimes (usually) contain.

I have bought the whole set of Access 97 tapes from Keystone Learning Systems Corp. and have been happy with the quality.

I agree about the Keystone Learning videos – Allison Balter did most of them at least through Access97, which I’ve seen, and her stuff on VBA is pretty understandable. Unfortunately I haven’t seen any others, though I have played with the MS Learning VBA CD-ROM and was generally unimpressed.

I have collected these links over the past few years. Some refer to Access 97, which might be a bit dated for you, but most, if not all the examples can be converted to Access 2000.
