I started this post in Software Finds & Wants, but since what I am really looking for is a database, someone suggested moving it here. I’m checking to see if anyone knows of a program that will help me track the training in my firm (who has had what training, when, etc.).
I’m looking for open source freeware, probably some sort of relational database. I have found a couple of things out there at SourceForge.net and a couple of other freeware sites, but the ones I found are web based, and I want something just to help me keep track of it, not an interactive program (i.e., where users sign up on the intranet, etc.). I can build a simple database for this, but thought before I started working on that I would see if anyone here knew of something already available.

Please don’t do any heavy lifting for my benefit, though. My request was to make less work for me, not more work for someone else!
