Tracking in Outlook 2000 doesn’t seem to work correctly. I can’t get the message to process even with the automatic feature enabled in options. I have to manually open a read receipt or a response for a meeting invite to get them to track. Ideas????

if you have automatic processing enabled in tools | options… they will process when the system is idle.

Have checked all of that and it doesn’t work. It seems to work on some e-mail accounts but not all. Am I missing something else in options or does our system admin. have to change something?

what type of accounts? while it should work with all account types, the one requirement is the receipts be RTF format. i think if they are plain text they won’t process at all but i rarely get plain text ones so i can’t say for sure.

Does it make a difference if you use Word as your e-mail editor?

i didn’t think it did – as long as they are rtf. i don’t use word, but if you do it could be the cause of your problems.
