Is there any way to get tracked changes to show in the body of the document with deletions underlined, BUT, at the same time, have the comments show in balloons? I find the tracked deletions hard to review when they are off to the side in a balloon (besides the fact that they push the comments miles from their point of insertion)- but I can’t really tell which comment goes where when I’m looking at them in the reviewing pane.

Can I have both? Or do I really have to choose?

    Thanks,
    -cynthia

This might be a reason to upgrade to Word 2003… as this dialog shows, many omissions in Word 2002 have been addressed.
