A user has asked me if there’s a way for her to have their Tracked Changes appear in two different colors. The document is going through several rounds of editing. The user would like to retain their tracked changes for the first round. Then when it comes around to her later and she makes more changes, she’d like these changes to show up in a different color, to distinguish the different “rounds” of editing. Is there away to do this? Is there a way to “fool” Word into “thinking” she’s a different author?

    Thanks.

Just change the username in Tools > Options > User Information

For example the user could change their name from StuartR to “StuartR second edit”

      StuartR
