I’m not sure which newsgroup is the proper one for this
question….(but I couldn’t find any on “Authoring tools”)

    Question:
When working with text (style: normal or body) in table
cells, I cannot get the “Track changes” tool to check a
    single word at a time.

When it checks a cell, I must either accept changes
to the contents of the entire cell or reject all changes
    within the cell.

Would anyone know if there’s a work around for this ?
    – or do I have to live with it this way ? (I hope not)

    Best regards,
    Henrik

This very irritating piece of Word behaviour is described in Q246486.

The suggested workaround of using the Reviewing toolbar isn’t much better than using the menu commands.
