    Good Afternoon hello

I have a wookbook that has multiple sheets. I am on one page that contains a series of assumptions and I wanted to trace where these assumptions are being used.

I’ve tried the ‘audit’ toolbar and it just tells me that they are used on a different sheet.

I’ve tried searching for the sheet name but nothing was found (does that search only cover the active sheet question)

Is there anything else that I can try?
    Cheers,

    Tim

Select the cells and then Tools/Auditing/Trace Dependants. You should get an arrow pointing from the cell to an Icon of a spreadsheet. This indicates that the cell is referenced on another sheet. The end of the arrow that is in the cell should have a round end on it. If you move the cursor over that round end it should turn from a cross to an arrow. Double click, and you should get a “GoTo” box that should list all of the referencing cells and allow you to click and go to them.

        Legare,

I always wondered how you did the tracing – never occurred to me to double click the round dot.

Seems like it doesn’t matter which end of the arrow you double click on – the round dot or the arrow head.
