Is there an easy a way to determine which rule directs an email to a folder? The hard way is to remove all rules and re-enter them one at a time in the proper order until a hit is made.

What i’d like is access to the collection of rules. Programmatically via VB is ok, and preferred.

Also, i’d like the rules sorted into some sane order.

Caveat: I’m using O2K so there might be a difference due to versions.

You might be able to add an extra command to your rules to include a notification telling you which rule was used with which message. That might help you track how the rules are operating.

Thanks David! That’s a good idea, right before my blind eyes.

Having looked thru the list of actions, i am now also pursuing ‘apply a custom action’ thru the help files etc.
