Can someone offer me a simple solution to hiding toolbars, menus, etc. from user without harming the backend db I use to maintain the db?

The client I am doing this for doesn’t have any type of network, therefore everyone is using the same db which is shared through a shared folder. At some point the user will designate a db person to maintain the db’s. I would like to provide them with a way of allowing him/her to have full access while hiding any type of options to the enduser.

You can hide the built-in toolbars from the startup dialog under Tools–>Startup. Unless you turn off the allowbypasskey option in your startup code, the administrator can still open it holding down the shift key to bypass the startup options and see the toolbars.
