in my database there are some macros that run 15 queries or so. we recently upgraded to acc2000 and had to do all the conversions. it went well thankfully. the problem is that each time a macro or query or anything for that matter is run or opened a sepearte box in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen is displayed for htat action.

so i run my macro and get 15 toolbar windows at the bottom of my screen, i then have to see them each close 1 by 1 as the queries are run and then closed. is there a way that i can turn off the opening of a new toolbar icon at the bottom of my windows screen. i want just one box per DB, not one box per access function. thanks.

Go to Tools | Options in your menus. In the first tab turn off “Windows in Taskbar”.

      Open the menu Tools, Options.
In the tab View, uncheck the Windows in Taskbar checkbox
