All of our dogs have been rescue dogs, except for the last one. Rescues are the best. The only reason we did not go with a rescue for the last one is that the older Mini Doxie we have was starting to have behavior problems from missing her best buddy shortly after her best buddy passed. We went to a breeder to get another Mini Doxie. They have been best buddies ever since. They are inseparable.
