title bar missing (office 2000, win 98)

This may be a windows display problem, but it only affects excel.
When I open excel, I have no title bar above the menu.
Also when I right click on the excel task on the task bar, I do not get the “move” option highlighted

When you right click on Excel in the task bar do you get Restore option? If so, click on it and see what happens.

Thanx for your question.
I’m posting this for a client and apparently the problem is more sever than I thought. When Excel opens, the taskbar is hidden from view. This effect apparently does not happen with any other application.
I think i’ll pursue this in a windows lounge

OK, then when Excel is open can you click on Alt+Space Bar and get a menu that includes Restore?
