I have searched for a solution to this all-of-a-sudden problem but I haven’t found one. The attachment shows how new messages (new, replies, forwards) are displayed. The arriving messages are displayed correctly. Actions that I’ve tried with no effect:

    • Repair MS Office
    • Delete and re-create the NormalEmail.dotm file.
    • Changes Edit Options Advanced/Display between inches and centimeters.
    • Change the View/Size settings in Internet Explorer
[/list]Since the messages are arriving okay, it seems to me to be a “viewing” problem. Unfortunately, the Outlook editor has no provisions to change the magnification.

      Any ideas?

Does the view size change if you hold down the Ctrl key and scroll the mouse wheel?

Well, I’ll be … Yes, indeed! Back to Normal.

But a question – Why is this view size persistent and not just constrained to the current message? I think I caused this when I unknowingly swept my finger over the touch pad while I had the Ctrl key depressed.

        Regards,

Outlook 2007 uses an editor that shares a lot of code with Word. Word “remembers” the most recently used zoom percentage, so I assume Outlook 2007 does the same.
