We have a folder on our network which if you show files as a filmstrip one of the thumbnails doesnot match the picture. It is in fact a duplicate of the previous thumbnail? Picture (.jpg) prints with no problem. It does not matter which computer you use to access the folder. Has anyone else ever experienced this and is there any way to correct?
    Thanks
    Roberta

Have you tried deleting the thumbs.db file in that folder? It is both a Hidden and System file, so you would have to have set up Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options (see graphic) and clicked on Apply, then Apply to All Folders, to be able to see that file. It will be recreated.

I’ve tried several times and can’t duplicate the problem, Roberta. How about the easiest test: go to that folder and RENAME the thumbs.db file to something else. Then hit the F5 refresh key to see if it will rebuild that control file. Otherwise, I don’t know. Wait to see if someone else has experienced this problem…

Edited: Sorry John, it took me longer to hit the post button… grin
