Hey all,

General question. Over the years I have collected many macros/solutions to situations.

Does anyone have a good method of storing the collected information so that it is easily identified and understood as to the application?

Basically, I have macros all over, and am wondering if anyone out there has figured a way to keep track of them for possible use in similar situations.

If they are for your personal use, a good place for them is your personal macro workbook Personal.xls. See Legare Coleman’s Personal.xls Tutorial.

If they are to be used by several people, you could create an Excel add-in. See Jan Karel Pieterse’s Create Addins.

What I have done is create a spreadsheet listing the macro name and a description of what it does with a link to a text file
in my harddrive.
