Sorry to sound un-American here, but I can’t believe the USA and Italy results. The Americans unfortunately CANNOT beat the Spaniards, undefeated in 35 matches. It’ll be nice while it lasts.

Stranger things have happened, who knows maybe this will be called the “Miracle without the Ice”. Davies is a local kid and very strong. I actually got to see him play as he was coming up through the High school leagues.

I hate to be a skeptic here, but the Brazil shot on goal in about the 60th minute looked to me like Howard was INSIDE the goal when he deflected the shot! Whew…
