All of a sudden Outlook now has a theme (little squares all over) on my boss’ computer. We have both looked in all the places we can think of to make sure there is no theme chosen and there isn’t. Yet, the theme shows up.

Any ideas where we should look? He does use Word for his email editor.

    Thanks for the help!

Do you mean the main Outlook application, or the background of new e-mail messages (aka stationery)?

Sorry I wasn’t clear. The theme/unwanted background is in new messages the boss creates.

It’s called stationery and it can be set in the Mail Format tab of Tools | Options… in the “Use this stationery by default” dropdown.

I believe there is no stationery set. I do know we do not have a theme set there. I’ll have to wait to double check when he comes in next (ah the life of the partially retired!).
