At least we now know why the 1903 patch is taking so long. Or at least, suspect it.

although the upcoming 1903 KB4522355 patch (build 18362.446) is currently in the release preview ring since yesterday 10/17 and not yet released to the general public

good thing I did not get the KB4520062 patch for 1809 yet but still have the KB4519338 update installed on my 1809 machine.

Do you use Advanced Threat Protection on an Enterprise E5 subscription?

Is your “Sense” service (Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection Service) running? (Mine is stopped.)

I had been wondering whether anyone visiting this site would be likely to be paying for the additional service affected by this patch issue. My guess was probably not, but there could be an enterprise admin managing this service for thousands of clients I suppose.

Nothing serious from client POV, otherwise they would pull the update
