See Günter Born’s post. As expected, this one’s a combined Win10 1903 and 1909 cumulative update. But if you think both Win10 1903 and 1909 are going

There’s one report on Tenforums that KB4532695 updates jscript9.dll, thus probably fixes the ADV200001/CVE-2020-0674 security hole.

The flaw is in jscript.dll, not jscript9.dll:

By default, IE11, IE10, and IE9 uses Jscript9.dll which is not impacted by this vulnerability.
This vulnerability only affects certain websites that utilize jscript as the scripting engine.

So it’s safe to install this update right? I just hid it with WUShowhide, but if its safe to install I’ll do it tonight before bed.

This is a D week non-security OPTIONAL INSTALL update (the equivalent of a “Preview” in earlier versions of Windows). It is basically meant for testing (by ID Dept.s, for example).  The fixes included will be rolled into the next Patch Tuestay Security (read Important) update = CU.

Unless you have a need to fix a specific problem immediately, you should ignore the OPTIONAL INSTALL updates.

Of course, I don’t recommend that you manually install it. Let’s see where the fur flies.
