    I am using Firefox 106.

Without making a record of the defaults for Firefox | General | Language and Appearance | Fonts | Advanced, I made changes some time ago, and I’ve recently gotten results that I don’t like. But, I don’t remember what the defaults were?

I don’t remember the settings for Proportional and for Monospace at all. I think I remember that the Serif was Times Roman 16 and the San-serif was Arial, but I am not sure.

    Can someone help me out?

Also, at the bottom of the “Advanced” box was a check-box that was labeled “Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above”. That checkbox is gone now. Is there some about:config preference that would have the same effect as checking the box, if it were there?

On Windows 10, the defaults for Latin are:

      Proportional: Serif
      Size: 16
      Serif: Default (Times New Roman)
      Sans Serif: Default (Arial)
      Monospace: Default (Consolas)
      Size: 13
      Minimum font size: None

The Default (X) options are all at the top of each list.

As for ‘Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above’, it’s still there – I suspect that you just need to scroll down the scrollbar on the right.

      Hi WCHS:

I not certain, but believe I’m using the default fonts in my Firefox v106.0 browser.  My settings also appear to match what’s shown in the Mozilla support article at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-fonts-and-colors-websites-use.

      Firefox-v106_0_0-Settings-Fonts-Advanced-19-Oct-2022

The first image above shows that my font at Settings | General | Language and Appearance | Fonts | Default Font is (Default) Times New Roman (size 16).
