compute I am experiencing a brain cramp…..how does one insert or write text outside of a table that occupies a complete page…such as a header lable etc.

Try pressing Ctrl+Home then Enter to insert text before the table, or Ctrl+End to move beyond the table.

        Hans,
both steps work, however, the table occupies four continuous pages, I need to insert text outside the table at the top of each page…..thanks

If the text should be the same on each page, you can put it in the page header (View | Header and Footer).
Otherwise, you’ll have to split the table into 4 separate tables: click in a row where you want to split the table and select Table | Split Table.

If this needs to be at the top of each page but only where the table appears…

Put the text in the first row of the table and turn its borders off so that it appears to not be part of the table. Then select that row and turn on the Tables > Heading Rows Repeat setting.

            Andrew,

Thanks for your input…I’ve used the header function with great success. I found that for non repeating uses, the TablelSplit Table sequnce works well……
