I am working on a really simple file. I want text in text boxes in the slides to stay the same font size.I have 10 slides. Every time I want to edit the main text box, I select some text, delete it, and the font size changes to a bigger font size, trying to re-accomodate to the new empty space. How do I turn that off? That did not happen with PPT v.97.

There is a title master, and a second master for the rest of the file.

    Thank you

I’m using a foreign language version of PowerPoint, so the wording may be slightly off.

      Select Tools/AutoCorrect Options…
Activate the AutoCorrect As You Type tab.
Uncheck the options to auto-adapt text in the title and main placeholders (the second and third option from the bottom)

Close enough. wink FWIW, it’s AutoFit text in the U.S. version.
