    Greetings lounge users

I have a .dotm in WordStartup location on a network drive. Read only for most users.

The .dotm loads a ribbon customisation.
Users receive a notification that it cannot load ~\uncpathfileName.dotm.
The dialog clears and of course the ribbon customisation is loaded.

Is this a network permissions related issue. If so what rights need to be assigned to who.

    Regards

    Geof

I suspect Windows security – the same reason you can’t load a help file (chm) from the network.
      Don’t have a solution. 🙁

      cheers, Paul

        Thanks anyway.
I guess I will do it the hard way. Progressivley tighten security until common logons cant use it and then back off.
