If I knew the correct terminology for my problem I would look up the answer in my many manuals.

Is there an easy way to complete the formula in the attached worksheet? I am sure there must be a quick way.

You mean like this?

I changed the sheetnames to match the column headings and added a column (can be hidden) to list what column to “grab”. Now indirect can be used…

Thanks Steve. I will have to learn about Indirect now.

Did you see the tables at the bottom of the monthly stats sheet? Can I do this here as well? If so, start me off with rows 106 – 107 – 108 and I and then I can probably work the rest out for myself.

Is there any chance that you can set up the raw data differently, or are they a given?
If the raw data would be in a single database-like table, it would be relatively easy to generate all kinds of summaries and charts from the data.

See the attached workbook. I didn’t try to recreate the summary tables exactly, I just included two pivot tables that were simply created using the Wizard.

I left the macro that I used to create the data sheet in the workbook for your information; you cannot run it in this copy any more since I removed the original month worksheets.
